You've Got A Friend In Me: E

Welcome, everyone to my new blog series entitled “You’ve Got A Friend In Me.” Every month I’ll interview a member of the Disney blogging community so we can all get to know each other a bit more. If you’d like to be featured, or want to nominate someone, feel free to DM me on Twitter or Instagram.

My first friend to interview is E from @eewaldon.

E is a 19-year-old future animator. He wants to work as a storyboard artist, concept designer, and or/ character designer. Self-defined as a Military Brat, E has moved all over the states, and while he now resides in North Carolina Walt Disney World is his true home.

Growing up, E was never one for social media, but once he turned eighteen he decided it was time to get online and see what was going on. Though right now his social media accounts are used as a way to keep in touch with Disney Fans all around, one can expect great (artsy) things in the future from E.

When it comes to Disney favorites it’s pretty easy for E to list his. The iconic Mickey Mouse is his favorite character by far, due to his genuine personality and his fabulous sense of style. (If you peak into E’s closet you’ll notice he also likes to add Mickey into his own style when he can.) His favorite Disney movie is Moana and following the ocean theme, his favorite Pixar movie is Finding Nemo. According to E it is these movies spectacular visuals, soundtracks and plots that easily place them at the top of his list. Everyone has a favorite Disney song they like to rock out to and E is no exception. His favorite song is the Monster’s Inc. theme music because it is such a JAM (and it is also his ringtone). Continuing the music theme, E’s favorite Disney quote come’s from The Princess and the Frog in the song “When We're Human.” Tiana sings, “If you do your best each and every day, good things are sure to come your way,” and this is what inspires E to put in 113% effort into everything he does.

E is very confident in himself and has no problem living his life to the fullest and doing what he can to be himself. He lives by the famous Mulan quote, “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.” E believes one must always be true to themselves to find happiness, and he is living proof that this is how to life a happy and fulfilled life.
